Weddings

We welcome all enquiries about getting married in our beautiful New Forest church building and will do all we can to support you and make your occasion happy and memorable.

Like all Church of England churches, you can be married here if you have any of the following connections to Christ Church or the Parish of Ashurst and Colbury:

• if one or both of you has lived in the parish for six months
• if one of you was baptised or prepared for confirmation here
• if either of you has at any time attended Sunday services here regularly for six months
• if one of your parents, at any time after you were born
  • has lived in the parish for six months or
  • has regularly attended Sunday services here for six months
• if one of your parents or grandparents was married here

However, if you cannot demonstrate any of the above connections, we may be able to help you explore whether it may still be possible for you to marry in this church.
